This is all "expected". Pols, and esp entire branches of
govt, have to maintain (or create the illusion of) their
own 'autonomy'. It's a matter of pride, it's a matter
of politics.

Trump WILL have to make deals with the House/Senate, no
question. Fortunately he's GOOD a deals - he will get
90% of what he wants, while the reps can crow about
not being his loyal minions/slaves/lapdogs.

making money. If he can get inside
the Trump administration to line
his own pockets he will. If he can
cozy up to Xi or Putin or Saudi
monarchs to make money he will.
