Israel To Finally (mostly) Cease Fire - Watch Joe Try To Take Credit

Shown on US networks this afternoon, Netanyahu said
the time had finally come for a cease-fire in the
region ... mostly with Hezbollah but perhaps extending
into Gaza as well. Basically they'd blown up as much
and as many as they thought necessary.

However almost immediately JOE's people positioned
for HIM to take all the credit.

Of course Netanyahu had COMPLETELY IGNORED all US
demands for over a year so it's not like Joe had
much of any input into today's announcement.

But that's politics ... appearances count more
than reality. Joe will fade away CLAIMING that
he ended the war - sounds a better legacy than
"He ruined the USA" :-)

The only way to deny him credit is to admit that the US has no effective
leverage on Israel.
