PermalinkVladimir Putin praised Donald Trump on Thursday as an
experienced and intelligent politician - and said he does
not believe the U.S. president-elect is safe after two
assassination attempts.
The Russian president signaled he was open to talks with
the incoming commander-in-chief as he threatened to use
'all means of destruction' available if the West gives
nuclear weapons to Ukraine.
The Kremlin strongman also tore into how Trump and his
family had been treated by his critics and called attacks
on him 'revolting'.
And he accused President Joe Biden of helping to escalate
the war sparked by Putin's 2022 invasion of Ukraine by
sending long-range missiles to Kyiv to make life more
difficult for his successor.
. . .
A typical thematically-cryptic bit of PutinProse.
Always the chess-master.
He IS correct that the threat of assassins - foreign
and domestic fanatics - persists. Anyone as stand-out
as Trump attracts followers AND bitter enemies. The
power and range of the USSS needs to be expanded.
There are many little ANTIFAs out there who'd like
Trump dead and some may, perhaps with inside help,
manage to worm their way all too close. Iran also
wants Trump dead - and could bring heavier weaponry
and more actors to the equation. The Golf-Course
Assassin was all freaked about Ukraine - kinda off
the usual radar picture.
It just ain't safe out there - esp for 'leaders' -
at this time. Remember how WW-1 got started ?
WW-3 could start like that as well. No need to
worry about WW-4 ..........
Oh, the USA/NATO are *not* gonna give Ukraine
nuclear weapons. The 'proxy' trick only gets you
JUST so far. HOWEVER, Ukraine says it has
enough USSR plutonium to make some from their own
stock. Only good bit is they'd likely be crude,
very heavy, which limits how they could be used.
