Israel said Saturday it rescued four hostages who were
kidnapped in a Hamas-led attack on Oct. 7, in the largest
such hostage recovery operation since the war with Hamas
began in Gaza.

Heavy fighting raged in central Gaza, where the hostages
were rescued, and at least 55 people, including children,
were killed in multiple attacks Saturday as people fled
for safety, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.

The army said it rescued Noa Argamani, 25; Almog Meir
Jan, 21; Andrey Kozlov, 27; and Shlomi Ziv, 40, in two
separate locations in a complex special daytime operation
in the heart of Nuseirat in central Gaza.

. . .

As usual, Hamas had the hostages embedded with
it's human shields - they were found in civvie
housing. Their condition wasn't mentioned, but
based on previous recovered hostages it'll be
pretty BAD. Male hostages get badly beaten and
females get beaten AND gang raped.

Sorry folks, but the "human shields" tactic is
just SO evil it cannot be allowed to deliver
results anymore, anywhere.

“Civvie housing” is not exactly the ideal place to hold someone if you
don’t want them to escape. Not for months on end.

As usual with Israel, their “explanations” just raise more questions ...

No Lawrence, you are wrong. It is easy to lock them into the cellar or a
room on the 3 or 4:th floor. You can tie their hands and legs and there's
no problem.

So it is easy to keep hostages locked up in a house or apartment for long
times with a bit of rope and a key.

For a few days, not for months on end. Why do it above ground, when they
can be hidden in those tunnels that Tzahal is completely unable to find?

And even if you could, think about all the entire neighbourhoods Tzahal
has already flattened: could there have been hostages in those places as
well?

They do it because they are good at using human shields. They draw in fire
to civlians and use that as propaganda, even though they are the ones who
initiated it by hiding the victims in such a way as to ensure the most
palestinians get killed. It's really not rocket science if you think about
it.

Correct.

All you need is a Hamas-brainwashed Dad or Fam.

The "human shields" in Gaza are, at least in part,
VOLUNTEERS. They rally to the Hamas cause, the Hamas
rhetoric, the Hamas "truths". They thus put their
entire fams at serious risk, but DON'T CARE.

You are a wise man! I wonder if you would be willing to school Lawrence in
the ways of the world? Sometimes he is very mistaken.

I don't think Larry can be schooled. Too far gone.

Hamas is of, about and cultivation of FANATICISM.
Join their sphere and you've volunteered your own
babies as soldiers.

They are no different than how the Germans and Japanese were in 1944.
